A bit like knives and cameras, if they're too big you'll leave them at home!

Great Buy Great Advice December 20, 2009 Mr. James J. Hewlett Well where to start
The book was packed with information on survival, it essentially tells you how to survive in any climate. How to make Igloos, bamboo shelters and cups, along with typical forest shelters, is all included in this book, as well as a section on camp craft, knots, and an essential kit list. Great buy a camping essential.
great little book November 22, 2009 Christopher Wolsey (England) I keep coming back to this little book all the time. I am a big kid at hard and love the idea of surviing in the wild, not that I do that much.
It is clear consise and informative with all you need to know about how to survive in the wild. It is not packed full of pretty photos but simple clear line drawings. which is all you need.
This would be my luxury on desert island discs
