 Perfect for those 'tricky' areas! August 30, 2010

Like many, the two questions I had were - will this work, and which model should I get from the wide number Phillips seems to offer? Well. last question first. I went for this model as it gave me everything I needed (apart from a clever stand, for half the price of the top of the range version that appears to be identical (apart from said stand). I was not disappointed. The item is well packaged in a sealed box, and comes with the groomer, and combs and a cleaning brush, and a small charging stand.
As for the shaving bit,I specifically wanted it for down below, and can say that with a decent amount of mousse ( I simply use Cussons) it trims really well and does not nick or scratch. It will by no means get you a trim as close as a blade, but I for one did not want to risk that!

I've now had two of these trimmers - on each of them the shaving head kept continually falling off. The first was OK when it worked, but the foil got damaged through continually falling off so I ordered another in May this year. This has lasted 3 months - the shaving head won't stay in at all and is now unusable. What a useless product!

Really works well, just ensure that your skin is either wet or dry and taught, the edge cutters can nick loose bits :-0

i had the body-grooming kit for about 6 months then the safety guard broke and crack when i was shaven i cut my self, i would not recommend this product

What can i say - very happy with this product. I had a proper hairy chest (Magnum PI style) and it was causing me to sweat alot in the warm weather so i was going to shave with a razor but i had reservations about doing that as i have sensative skin. Then i came accross this and thought i'd give it a try. Well havent looked back since. Started off with the No. 3 Guard on it and then went down to No.2 where i stoped because i didn't want a totally bald chest.
It coped very well with my "chest rug" and didnt pull/nick or jam. I also used it without the guard on just to tidy up around the stomach area and also on the tops of my arms. Ended up using it on the pubic area too and very happy with the results.
I have used this in the shower also and it works just as well in a wet environment. It has given me no rashes or itchiness so am very happy with it.
