All went well with the trimmer for all of three weeks then it just stopped working. I followed the instructions (not difficult) but it just cut out and went to the trimmer grave unceremoniously. With an established name such as Philips how can a simple piece of kit go wrong so quickly. The redeeming point of the story was Amazon who immediately sent a replacement without fuss - one customer kept! The replacement trimmer continues to work.....

Better to go for quatity than cheap tat. This is a really great trimmer, when I saw the design and the method of cutting the hairs I just new it would do the job. Worth spending that bit extra.

Very disappointing - doesn't leave the hairs very short that is when it actually clips them at all, which isn't often. I wouldn't recommend this product.
