 Best shaver I have come across to date September 3, 2010
constructive critic
Having used a variety of foil shavers over the years, none of which gave a very good shave after a period of use (cutters blunt very quickly), I thought I would try this different design. The Philips shaver gives me the closest shave I have come across (so far), in spite of being amazingly quiet and therefore sounding underpowered (which it isn't). Recommended.

I have tried many foil and rotary cutter shavers and this is the best so far. It might be relatively cheap but it works better than shavers costing twice as much. I have "sensitive skin" and I normally have to use a rotary razor for a while before my skin adapts to it. No problems with the HQ7380, no irritation - just a great clean cut. Excellent!

My partner says this is the best shaver he has every had. Every time he shaves, he mentions how good it is. I bought it as a birthday present and am very pleased that he is entirely satisfied with this shaver.

Bit of a minefield when looking for a replacement razor.
Being a bit of a skinflint I was not prepared to pay a lot so opted for the Philips 7300 series. Wash under tap, recharges in one hour, gives ten days of shaving, is quiet,and not as expensive as my last Philips. Also gives a better shave than my more expensive razor. All in all a good purchase. I am very pleased.

I read many user reviews before purchasing the Philips HQ7380 Shaver and was decided by the many glowing reports. I fully concur with all the good things said about this razor and am completely satisfied with my purchase and of course the usual Amazon excellent Price and Service. This razor replaces my "very old" Double Headed "Philishave" which has given stirling service but cannot be compaired with my new Philips razor. I find that it makes short work of my beard and using it on a daily basis a battery charge is lasting just over a week which I consider most satisfactory. I do like the fact that the razor heads can be washed clean under a running hot tap. One thing that I have found is that by using a "Pre-Electric Shave Lotion" I seem to get a much cleaner shave but this may just be my imagination !!! I should point out perhaps that I am an eighty year old so my stubble is fairly well established.
