I researched products like this for ages for my boyfriend and eventually plumped for the Babyliss For Men I-Trim Stubble and Trimmer. It seemed the best in terms of general feedback and price. I was concerned that on many reviews people mentioned that the closest setting was not good enough, but my boyfriends found it to be brilliant. I would recommend this product for someone who wants the 'all round' stubble look. It's only downfall is that after he's used it the hair goes everywhere. It could do with something that catches any hair cut.

This is the second generation of Itrim I bought. I gave the previous one back becasue the battery was gone so quickly.
Size is very good and the weigth is ideal for travellers
This one is definetely much better than the previous one, especially when you want to trim your hair near to 0 without the attachement. It does not catch the skin like the previous version.
The shaving attachment is OK to use for small areas but not really suitable for proper beard shave.
Overall I think this one is the best in the market when you sum up all the properties, comfort and the size. Well done Babyliss

I shall be brief and repeat my title above i.e. "Still looking for that 'five o'clock shadow' stubble trimmer". If this is what like me you are actually looking for, you don't get it with this product. In fact even with no guards on at all it still doesn't give that five o'clock look i.e. 24 hours after a full-blown proper razor blade wet shave.

i bought this shaver as i wanted a change in appearance and ive gotta say i wasnt dissapointed the i trim stubble is fantastic i tried it on the 2mm level this level is for the beard type the 1mm level is for the slightly darker stubble and the 0.5mm level is the shadow look this is the level i prefered and was shocked how gud the end result was wen shaved. ive heard alot of bad reviews about this product but it must be nonsense because it did exactly wat its says on the tin read instructions!
